Thomas Hughes

Thomas is part of Lincoln Agritech’s New Materials Group, where he works on the design, commissioning, and optimisation of novel wool processing technologies. His role focuses on advancing fibre processing through innovative engineering solutions.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in chemical and process engineering with a minor in bio‑processing, as well as a Master of Engineering awarded in 2019. Thomas brings experience in process development, high‑temperature operations, and electrolysis, with interests in electrochemistry, process safety, and sustainability.
