Max Butler joined Lincoln Agritech’s New Materials Group in May 2021 as a Process Development Engineer. His work focuses on the design, commissioning and optimisation of novel wool processing technologies, contributing to the MBIE-funded New Uses for Crossbred Wool programme.

Max received his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Canterbury in 2019, majoring in chemical and process engineering with a minor in energy processing technologies. He has experience in process control, pilot plant development and equipment operation for the production of nanofibre composite additives.
