Joanna joined Lincoln Agritech as a Business Development Manager in January 2023. She has a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of Otago, a Graduate Diploma of Commerce from Lincoln University and a Master of Science in agroecology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.

Joanna has recently returned to her Canterbury roots after having spent several years away in Scandinavia. There she exposed herself to Europe’s strong emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and ecosystem collaboration through academic studies and commercial consulting work for agrifood companies. She has a strong interest in harnessing new ideas and relationships for the sustainable development of global agricultural systems.

In her spare time she enjoys exploring the landscape on feet, bike, or skis.
