Gail joined Lincoln Agritech’s New Materials Group as a Wool Research Technologist.
She has a background in organic chemistry and gained her Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from University of Canterbury. Gail has extensive industry experience, specifically in the wool industry. In 1991, Gail joined the Wool Research Organisation of New Zealand in Lincoln. This company later evolved into Canesis Ltd, which then was acquired by AgResearch Ltd. In 2010, Gail became an independent technical services provider to the wool industry and associated clients.
Gail’s key research areas are in wool structure and wool processing. She has skills in chromatography, analytical chemistry and scanning electron microscopy and is interested in solving technical issues and researching new processes for wool.
