Erica Sue-Tang

Erica is part of our New Materials Group, working to develop new functionalised high-value materials from coarse wool and novel cellulose fibres from New Zealand plant resources. She graduated from the University of Canterbury with a BSc majoring in chemistry and minoring in biology.
At Lincoln Agritech Erica works on bench-scale fibre production and assists in some pilot plant operations, carrying out experiments, routine testing and analysis.
Erica has previously worked in electrical manufacturing and flowline processes. She has also worked as a research scientist at Gelita, innovating collagen-based food products.
