Her interests include cellulose chemistry, biodegradation pathways, and creating sustainable material solutions for global environmental challenges.
Erica’s work spans bench‑scale fibre production and pilot‑plant operations, with hands‑on involvement in experimental design, routine testing, and analytical evaluation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biology from the University of Canterbury and brings applied science experience from electrical manufacturing, flowline processes, and research at Gelita, where she contributed to collagen‑based food product innovation.
