Olivia Egerton has a proven track record for turning bold vision into reality. She has an aptitude for managing complex problems and thinking creatively. Olivia brings together diverse people to focus on a common vision and create enduring action across all levels of business, local government, community groups and not-for-profit trusts.

A milestone in her career has been her role developing and managing the Te Hono Movement. A business-led, government-enabled initiative that has brought together NZ’s largest and most innovative primary sector companies to transform from volume to value.

She is the Development Director of Te Atamira, an arts and cultural facility in Remarkables Park Queenstown. She is the founder of Kotare Strategy, which works with primary sector and not-for-profit organisations in business development, strategic planning, stakeholder relations, visioning, scoping and design thinking.

Olivia was the 2020 winner of the Institute of Directors First Steps in Governance programme, which includes a two-year internship with Ronald McDonald House South Island and was a finalist in 2015 Westpac Women of Influence awards in the Rural Category. She holds a Masters in Cultural Heritage, Deakin University, Melbourne and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, University of Auckland.
