Summer Paulin
Summer is a Research Technician in Lincoln Agritech’s New Materials and Biotechnology group. Her work focuses on the research, development, and analysis of wool-based fibres and materials.
Summer graduated from the University of Otago with a Bsc(Hons) in Biochemistry, focusing on protein domain interactions within plants. She brings a strong background in the analysis of protein structure and function, and in the New Materials group, examines how this can be manipulated for commercial use. She is passionate about the development of sustainable new materials and communicating these findings to wider communities.
