With a background in chemistry and hands-on experience in both scientific research and investment analysis, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to bridging the gap between laboratory innovation and market application.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury, where his research focused on developing novel routes to herbicide replacements. Alongside his scientific training, Ben has built experience as both a commercial and investment analyst, working with early-stage ventures on market validation, due diligence, and go-to-market strategies. His work is grounded in a strong understanding of both technical feasibility and commercial outcomes.
